This washed and sun-dried lot of Bourbon comes to us from the Kayanaza region of Burundi. Kibingo station is a coffee cherry collection station and processing plant that acts as a hub for thousands of small farms in the area. Lots are blended and processed then sorted by grade and made ready for export. This particular lot is ‘A1’ grade (as good as it gets!). The farms in the region sit around 1900 meters above sea level.

This coffee is very classic juicy Burundi - lots of fresh stonefruit and cherry at first sip. The coffee cools sort of tea-like and has some very nice lemon zest and cinnamon flavors in the finish. Super sweet overall and makes for a damn nice brew.
